About

  I'm Lou.
Bookish daydreamer and hopeless romantic. A South London gal currently taking a sabbatical from  teaching in South Korea and staying with my parents in rural Ireland..
I love getting my fingers inky, either by writing or crafting. I fear with both I have more heart than actual talent... but I don't let that hold me back!
Welcome to my blog!
This is a place where I collect memories from my day to day. It's this small corner that I'll be able to come back to and remember all the little things... the thoughts, the people, the smiles, because it's these that count the most, right?
Thanks for stopping by. I'm glad you're here.
Feel free to leave a comment and say hi. I love making new friends.

    1. Hey Katie, lovely to meet you and I love your blog!

I've been here with my boyfriend for almost 3 years now~ I used to work out in the country in Gangneung, Gangwon-do but this year and next year we are in the bright lights big city of Seoul just to mix it up a bit ~.^

Where did Ben work? What did you make of Korea when you came to visit?

    1. Thank you so much for saying so Sarah! I designed the layout myself and the talented designer Savannah over at Oh So Pretty (http://www.ohsoprettydesign.blogspot.ie/) created the template for me. I would highly recommend her >.<

  7. Hey! Really like your blog + photos! Question for you... I've read you were teaching English in Korea and living with your boyfriend - how were you guys able to live together? My boyfriend and I are looking into it through Korvia (one of the main recruiters) but they said they can't arrange for you to live with someone unless you're married?! Can you shed any light on this? Cheers! Alex
